Premium economy on the 747 is configured 2-4-2 (A,B - D,E,F,G - J,K).
So where to sit in premium economy? Well the obvious seats are 28B and 28J, and 29A and 29K. The middle four seats in row 28 are less good (there is a bulkhead in front of you and then Club World, but 28B and 28J have plenty of leg room, though you might feel a little exposed (there is no seat next to you).
Our preference in this configuration would be 29A or 29K. You get lots of leg room, a window, can access the aisle simply by ducking your head down to avoid the overhead locker and then walking out around the side of the single seat in front of you in row 28. You can also prop up your feet on the back of the extra wide armrest of the seat in row 28 - all in all, these are the two best seats in World Traveller Plus, and much sought after.
