Virgin Atlantic (airline code VS) is a British airline founded in 1984 by Richard Branson.

Ownership

Virgin Group owns 51 per cent of the airline, with the other 49 per cent having been sold to Singapore Airlines in 1999.

Route Network

Virgin Atlantic's main hubs are at London's Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW) airports in the UK, but it also flies from Manchester (MAN) and, seasonally, from Glasgow (GLA). To see where Virgin flies to, click here.

Fleet

Virgin has Boeing 747s and the smaller Airbus A340-600 and A340-300. The airline operates all three aircraft types from Heathrow, but only 747s from Gatwick and Manchester. The 747s have three different seat plans - click through to see the various configurations.

Re: Gatwick to Montego Bay, Virgin Atlantic

I am booked on the above flights departing 12th October and returning 19th October. I have booked 2 premium economy seats and have been allocated 31 H & K. Looking at your seat plan website I cannot find these seats as Premium.

Can you confirm that they are.
