Turkish Airlines offers first class on the Boeing 777 aircraft that it leases from Jet Airways.
These aircraft are fitted with state of the art enclosed private cabins which convert into a fully-flat 83-inch bed. Cabins have a 23-inch flat TV screen with a choice of 200 hours of entertainment. Seats can be converted in order that two passengers can dine or hold a meeting.
Luxuries include goose down duvets, Bose noise-reducing headphones, a Bulgari amenity kit and pyjamas. Food service offers four mains plus a choice of seven starters including Turkish meze and caviar. On the ground, there is a limo service in Istanbul plus a valet parking option.

Once checked in at the first class counter, a customer service escorted us through immigration and then on to the lounge to an assigned dining table. A leather bound menu from starter to dessert offering mainly Turkish cuisine. The menu is rather extensive for an airline lounge but the lounge itself needs lots of updating.
