SQ 011 LAX-SIN with one stop NRT ( Tokyo) . Everyone very impressed to take Singapore Airlines flight to Asia and the most best Airlines in the world. In fact not true ! Singapore Airlines Business Class seat configuration is worst compare to American Airlines LAX-LHR seat plan. Business Class located upper deck 747-400 . I was assigned at 11B . The seat configuration is similar to Superior Economy Class seat. I the seat can not recycle to the flat like American Airlines .

I had problem with coronary heart disease and cervical discography I followed up with Singapore Airlines instruction to have Medical Fitness for Air Travel ( MEDA) . Unfortunately Singapore Airlines refused accommodate at all at the airport staff supervisor was very rude and ruthless. With my eyes saw the rest of ground staff spread out after supervisor started rude against my face.

Told me " you must quit to travel , cancel this trip immediately or pay extra fees for better seat configuration at later flight on the same day" I told very politely, " are you going to accommodate my needs?" The supervisor simply walked away from the desk and stayed inside .

The other ground staff assistance becoming middle of person between me and the supervisor. I found Singapore Airlines staff 100% unprofessional manner. I read his lips telling his staff accommodation " get the hell out of here and put him to the plane and I can not help him period understand" so the result the lady took me to to the plane with out complimentary to invite to the business class lounge at LAX Tom Bradley International Airport. I was the first person boarded before rest of passengers.

Inside the plane with 4 crews escorted me to the upper deck and told me to click the best and stay there. It is very scary experience I ever seen in my lifetime. Again the seat are very poor configuration. I promised never fly SQ again in the lifetime. I mean . The whole flight I been depressed, because of Singapore Airlines treated me very badly and demoralization being my deafness. I can not hide myself anymore. it hurts me when I see the big board " Singapore Airlines voted best Airlines year 2009"

Noticeably poorer than SQ's 777s and other more modern Boeing aircraft. Not great for overnight travel. I hadrly slept.

Singapore Airlines offer a reliable, high-quality product. Seats on the 747, 777-300ER and A380 are good. Those on the 777-200 and 777-300 are a bit of an embarrassment. It's odd to have effectively 4 different classes of First Class product.

Service is always professional and attentive, often verging on friendly with a good crew member and an empty cabin. You are never left wanting for anything. The food is rather variable and not of the greatest standard. I frequently find that I am struggling to find something that I'd like to eat, rather than on most airlines I have to choose between 3 that all sound lovely. SQ get around this with the Book The Cook enabling one to pre-order from a choice of maybe 10 menu items. It does rather prevent one from ordering based on how you feel at that moment, but the BTC is always good! The Dom/Krug choice always a highlight, but I find the remainder of the wines and the lack of a dessert wine to be disappointing.

So always the best service, but avoid the 777-200/300 on a flight of any length.
