Economy seating on the 747 is mainly configured 3-4-3 (A,B,C - D,E,F,G - H,J,K). Rows 35 and 36 have no window, so avoid them.

The first exit row is 39, where seats B,C,H and J are preferable.  Seats A and K also have good legroom, but the door takes up some of this. The same applies to row 49.

Further back, configuration becomes 2-4-2, with seats B and J missing. The window seats are a good choice, as these will have more elbow room due to the curvature of the aircraft's tail.
