More
The A330-200 aircraft operates predominantly on
international routes, though since June 2008 it has also been on some domestic routes.
It is configured in a two-class seating arrangement (economy and business), with a few A330s used on international sectors having the Qantas business class Skybed on board.
The A330 is a twin aisle design, giving more personal space than other aircraft used on domestic routes. The A330 also offers a significant increase in overhead stowage
space and has intelligent lighting systems.
Whether domestic or international, the A330 has Audio and Video on Demand (AVOD) Inflight Entertainment (IFE) throughout both classes, allowing you to choose to start, pause, fast
forward and stop any of the 300 audio and video programs.
On domestic routes, the two-class configuration of the A330 is 34 business class seats in 2-2-2 (A,B - E,F - J,K) and 265 economy seats in 2-4-2 (A,B - D,E,F,G - J,K) . On long sectors the economy section drops by four seats to 261 to allow for the crew rest area.
