The Premium Laurel cabin on the B777 is split into two sections of four and three rows configured 2-2-2 (A,C - D,G - H,K). Row 10 faces onto the galley and the self-service snackbar, which both have the potential to disturb.

However, Eva Air has unveiled a new business cabin named Royal Laurel Class which is set to debut on the airline’s Taipei-New York flight on June 2 and to be installed on all B777-300ERs by August 2013. In addition to New York, the seats will be featured on flights to Los Angeles later this year and then, in 2013, on flights to San Francisco, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam and London.

Eva Air is configuring its Royal Laurel Class cabins with 38 seats in a reverse herringbone layout. Seats are approximately 26 inches wide, recline 180 degrees and stretch out almost 2 metres. The new AVOD IFE system is provided by a 15.4-inch touch screens and noise-cancelling headphones. Personal electronic devices can be plugged in to multi-function AV-input outlets, USB and iPod ports on a system equipped with software such as Media Player, Photo Viewer and PDF Reader. Power sockets are 110V.
