Delta's premium economy product, known as Economy Comfort, will be available from summer 2011 on wide body transatlantic flights.
Unlike some carriers, notably fellow Skyteam member Air France, Delta has chosen not to design a dedicated cabin for premium economy, instead using the first few rows of the standard economy seating. Economy Plus seating offers up to four inches more legroom than the 31 inches found in economy and a 50% extra recline.
Economy Plus passengers will also board early and enjoy complimentary spirits during the flight, in addition to beer and wine, which is complimentary for economy passengers.

We were on the LHR-BOS flight last summer departing at 10.15am. We were probably some of the last passengers on the flight but it was incredible serivce from the aircrew. Also getting off the other side was a whistle, straight off the plane and through the airport. more
