Flight search
New first class cabins are being fitted in the nose of China Airlines' Boeing 747s. There are three rows in a 2-2 layout (A,B - J,K), unlike the current configuration, which has an extra two seats in the third row.
The new seats are fully lie-flat and have an 83-inch pitch (210cm). They have a personal video screen with a choice of up to 30 films plus 10 games. Food is served on Bone China plates and amenity kits include Nina Ricci and Crabtree & Evelyn cosmetics.

iceandwater flew China Airlines First Class, on a B747-400
China Airlines offers one flight daily from Taipei to Beijing and back. Mine was the latter. Arriving at Beijing capital international airport terminal 3 at 0945 for my 1225 flight, I had plenty of time to kill before take-off. The check-in counters for China Airlines at the Beijing airport was from B17 to B26, which is a nice long distance from the nearest entrance.... more
