ANA has several types of business class seating.
On international routes to Europe and the US, the newest form of this business class seat is a lie-flat pod-style seat as found on Boeing 777-300ER and 787 aircraft that are used on long-haul routes.
These include 17-inch TVs, iPod connectors and USB ports. The entertainment system is on demand.
Seats are in a staggered layout, meaning that all have aisle access. All offer full-size pillows and down-filled duvet plus a shoe case, accessory box and coat hook for personal items.
These seats are used on flagship international routes including New York and London and, from 2012, on the Frankfurt-Tokyo route on the 787.
On Boeing 777-200ER aircraft used on a variety of international routes, seats are the older cradle type.
On Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, seats are also the cradle type with a 57-inch pitch. They have 12-inch TVs, iPod docks, USB connectors and adjustable foot and headrests. The entertainment system is not on demand.
These seats are found on routes to Singapore and Jakarta.

Service was professional and prompt throughout the flight. Seats were comfortable with various degrees of recline. When in flat position, the seat is on an angle which is a little strange. Also, the foot rest is a little too short so can be uncomfortable to have your ankles hanging over the edge. Food was fantastic and superbly presented. Offered champagne after... more
